Outstandingly Remarkable Values
To be designated as Wild & Scenic under the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act, a river must have at least one regionally or nationally significant “outstandingly remarkable value”. For our two watercourses, there are five special resource values that make them outstanding. These are Geology, Water Quality, Biological Diversity, Cultural Landscape and Recreation.
